Salmon Patties with Tzatziki

If you are out of ideas of how to cook salmon and has not yet trying making this recipe, you probably could try this. No bake and so easy to prep.

Salmon. I love fresh wild salmon. Simply grilled it on the pan with a little bit of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper with a small heat. Turn upside down when it’s brown on one side, and then smashed it with a fork. Make sure to not overcook it. After it’s done, let it cool.

Paprika and onion. Saute sliced paprika and onion in a pan with olive oil until it’s translucent. Let it cool.

Flour. I use einkorn flour for this recipe, but you can use any kind of gluten free flour.

Herbs. You can use any kind of herbs as you like, i put some green onion and dill.

Seasoning. As simple salt and pepper will do. But i add some garlic powder.

Eggs. Use 2 whole eggs to combine them all. The reason to let the salmon and paprika-onion to cool down before mixing everything together is we don’t want the egg to be heated and cooked while mixing this “dough”.

Mix everything in a bowl and form it like patties. Simply grilled it on the pan with olive oil until its brown on both sides.

You can eat it straight with homemade mayonaise or in this recipe i use homemade tzatziki. Or make it as a burger filling.

Ingredients :

  • Salmon
  • 1 cup flour
  • Green onion, dill
  • Generous pinch of salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 pcs Paprika
  • 1/2 pcs Onion ring
