Dairy Free Banana Ice Cream

With only 3 ingredients and one step one tool, you can create a tasty dairy free ice cream! Even my kids love them, which means this is taste approved by the expert of ice cream (which basically are kids duh)

Basically there are only 3 ingredients needed for this ice cream, but feel free to get creative and add more ingredients if needed. But today i am going to share the simple recipe of making it that you only need like 5 minutes to make this.

Frozen banana. So instead of using ice cubes – we’re using a frozen banana, as the final texture of this frozen banana being blend will be exactly like store bought ice cream. Pick a not ripe bananas. A ripe bananas will ends up getting mushy. So make sure to pick out a not ripe ones.

Milk. If you’re avoiding dairy, you can use plant based milk or nut milk instead.

Dark chocolate powder. Or cacao powder.

  • Slice your banana and put them in the freezer until they are frozen
  • Put in a blender 2 frozen sliced bananas, 60-80 ml milk and 1-2 tbs of dark chocolate powder
  • Blend it in a food processor until smooth
  • Add toppings as you’d like

The texture is actually not too melted like the picts i’ve showed you. But because this is a frozen banana, it will melt faster. And since i took quite a time of photoshooting outdoor, they kind of melting right away.
